Learning something new.

My first day at Innana's Gallery. I fell in love with the craft of making glass into jewelry. I work with dichroic glass and so far have made pendants and earrings. I have to wear safety glass to protect my eyes.

I promised myself that 2006 would be a year of new experiences and so far it has been great in that regard.

We went to San Francisco to see the musical stage play "Menopause". I couldn't resist a ride on the carousel while walking on the pier beforehand. Afterward, Sandra, Connie and I broke out in song. What a great day we had.

Other Hobbies

Great indoor and outdoor activities keep me busy. Thanks to my wonderful friend, Connie, I have learned how to make quilts. I am making my first quilt. Maybe I can photo it in a later Blog. My only exercise....water aerobics. Every morning 8:30-9:30 in the summer in Yosemite Lakes pool. What a great place we live in here!!

Jewelry Making

I took my first Dichroic Glass making class at Innana's Gallary and fell in love with the craft. I had to wear protective eye glasses. Many of the Red Hatters took the class and we are continuing to enjoy making jewelry.
